    ITINERARY


    25th July - WELCOME TO SWITZERLAND

    Transfer can be arranged on request from Zurich airport to your hotel in Andermatt (1.5hr drive- costs apply).

    Settle into your beautiful Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen in Andermatt - your ideal basecamp in Switzerland.

    Today is up to you to decide - meander through the picturesque village, go on a cruisy ride or treat yourself to a relaxing massage at the hotels on-site Spa & Wellness Centre
    .

     

    26th July - FURKAPASS & OBERALPPASS   

    65km; 1700m climbing.


    We will start with the mighty Furkapass, a 14km climb, which sets the tone for an epic experience in the Swiss Alps. Be ready to see road engineering at its best. It is famous for being seen in James Bond’s Goldfinger, where a curve of the East side has actually been named after James Bond, called James Bond Strasse.

     

    27th July - CLIMBING QUEEN STAGE  

    100km; 3000m climbing.

    A
    ccording to Fabian Cancellara, the Nufenen Pass is the hardest climb in Switzerland. Without any doubt, it is one of the most beautiful climbs in the Alps.

    At 2478 meters, it is ranked as the highest paved mountain pass in Switzerland. The incredible and inspiring route will simply leave you breathless.

     

    28th July - THE FINAL PASS - USEN-SUSTEN  

    60km; 2000m climbing.

    This Pass was built during World War Two and is steeped in history and memories.

    This final climb is a fitting end to a truly unforgettable experience in Switzerland.

     

    29th July - ADIEU TO SWITZERLAND  

     

    Unfortunately, your journey through Andermatt has come to an end. Transfer to Zurich airport can be arranged on request.
