"Overall, the trip exceeded my expectations. The riding was very interesting with a good mixture of road and gravel. The food locations organised by the Après Vélo team were exceptional, and the photos taken by Beardy put everything we had captured on our phones to shame. It did take me the first half-day to adapt to the slower pace of riding, but I found after that point I really enjoyed it — chatting, taking photos, and taking it all in. Highly recommend, but be ready for hills!"

"A surprisingly challenging tour where there are no flat roads — don't be fooled by 'Tassie flat'. It’s great to enjoy really challenging terrain so close to home, proving you don't always need to go to Europe to find brutal climbs. The out-and-back loops from Hobart are a welcome change, and staying in the same hotel all week is great. Beardy ensured we saw the variety of riding Tasmania has to offer — from canopy tracks to gravel walls and stunning descents. Off the bike, Hobart offers amazing food, beer and wine after a solid day in the saddle."
